Although it is rarely enforced, it is illegal to feed the Monkeys in Koh Phi Phi. Sadly they have now become mostly dependent on food sourced from tourists.

Monkey Beach

Monkey Beach is situated on Koh Phi Phi Don. You can't reach it on foot from town due to its coastal location. To get there, you'll need to join a boat tour that stops at the beach or rent a private boat. There are two Monkey Beaches on Phi Phi Don. One is called 'Saam Haad,' meaning 'Three Beaches,' which consists of three smaller beaches to the south. The other, a larger Monkey Beach, is located on the northern side of the island. It's common to spot monkeys there, but sightings are not guaranteed.
