Tour Description:
Charter a private speedboat for 8 hours, leaving from Koh Phi Phi Don. This is the longest time which we offer for our private charters and you’ll spend the entire day on the water! This amount of time is plenty to explore all the Phi Phi Islands including Koh Phi Phi Leh in the south, Bamboo island in the north, and everything in between. You’ll also be able to take the day at a leisurely pace without feeling rushed. When travelling by speedboat you’ll whizz around the islands in no time. Chartering a private speedboat is perfect for friends, family vacations, or couples. Whether you’re celebrating an occasion or just want to avoid the shared boat tours you will love the private speedboat charter. This private charter follows a fixed route, which can be customized to your preference. You’ll have total privacy as it will only be your group on board the boat. You’ll be in safe hands with our boat captain and crew. We strongly encourage guests to choose a guide tour to ensure you have the best experience possible, this is not required, however boat captains may not be able to speak English other than basic phrases.
Important: The boat you will travel on will be similar to the boats shown in the photos, however you might not travel on the exact same boat as in the photos. We will plan a fixed tour route around both the north and south islands of Koh Phi Phi, the order of the stops will be based on the captains recommendations. It is not possible for guests to plan the tour route by themselves as this requires extensive local knowledge and there are many factors which must be accounted for. We will avoid crowds as best as possible and if you have any preferences it can be discussed with your tour guide on the day and we will follow your preference when it is possible to do so. National Park Fees are not included and must be paid in cash during the tour. Not all locations are accessible on all days due to the tides and nature around the Phi Phi Islands.
Tour times may vary slightly depending on the season, pickup times may or may not be factored into the advertised schedule and can vary based on your accommodation's location. The exact tour times will be confirmed via messaging app one day before the tour.
Do You Need a Tour Guide?
🚨 Longtail Boat Captains cannot speak English. Guided tours offer the best experience with a knowledgeable, licensed English-speaking guide who can provide detailed information about the sights. Unguided tours are more budget-friendly but are operated by local boat captains who can only speak very basic English, and will not be able to provide information about the places you visit.
Meeting Info:
Phi Phi Don: The meeting point for this tour is on Koh Phi Phi Don, near Tonsai Pier in town. The exact meeting point and time will be confirmed one day before the tour. If you stay in a resort outside of the town, please do not book this tour as you may not be able to check-in. Make sure your accommodation is within walking distance of Tonsai Pier before making a reservation. You can contact us if you are unsure. Please do not book if you are staying in Phuket or Krabi.

This tour will visit islands and beaches located within Thailands Noppharat Thara Mu Koh Phi Phi National Marine Park. Non-Thai citizens must pay an admission fee of 400 Thai Baht per adult and 200 Baht per child. This fee, set by the Thai government, is not included in the tour cost and must be paid in cash during the tour. The places we visit are dynamic. All published times, routes, and schedules are approximate and subject to change without prior notice due to seasonal factors, weather conditions, sea conditions, and tides.
Chose from two start times on the 8 hour private boat charter. Leave at 10:30 am spending the late morning and entire afternoon on the tour and returning to Phi Phi Don after the sunset.
Start in the late morning at 11:30am if you'll like to include an additional stop at the end of the tour to night swim and look for glowing plankton.

Refunds and Cancellations:
You can cancel shared tours for free up to 24 hours before midnight of the tour date, and private tours for free up to 48 hours before. Cancellations are accepted for any reason. Outside of this time frame, full payment is required, and no refunds will be given, even for sickness or missed connections. It's recommended to have travel insurance for these situations.

All our tours are considered outdoor activities and do not get cancelled due to rain. Tours will be cancelled only if sea conditions, wave heights, or sea swell are deemed as unsafe by the National Parks Departments. If the tour is operating as normal but you choose to cancel outside of the agreable period then no refunds will be issued.

The minimum age to partake in any of our tours is three (3) years old. Our tours are not suitable for infants. The maximum age is seventy years old. Those aged between sixty and seventy must have their own travel insurance. All travellers must be in good physical health. Pregnant individuals, those with heart or back problems, are not permitted to book any tours - no exceptions. Travellers with disabilities needing assistance should contact us before booking to ensure suitability.
Travel Insurance:
All tours sold by Phi Phi Island Tours Company include standard accident insurance as required by Thai Law. The provided insurance meets all legal requirements, although coverage is limited to catastrophic events. It does not protect against personal injuries, damage to personal belongings, or cancellations due to illness. We strongly recomend that travellers obtain their own travel insurance for additional coverage. Safety Wing Thailand is our recommended providor, allowing coverage to be purchased even during a trip.

We ask that travellers keep an open mind when booking tours in this region, it's important to understand that some things are out of our control. We cannot control the weather, if you're travelling in the rainy season; rain is expected. We cannot control the animals, there is no guarantee you will see Reef Sharks, Turtles, Monkeys, Glowing Plankton or any other creature. We cannot control other people; our tours visit popular destinations and crows are expected, especially during the peak season months. We cannot control the tides or the ocean, and on occasion some locations will be inaccessible.
Maya Bay
During this tour, we may visit Maya Bay in the National Park. The beach access to Maya Bay can be closed without notice, especially in August and September, but it can happen on any day. Unfortunately, we have no control over this, so refunds will not be given if Maya Bay is closed. If the beach access is closed, we can still see the beach from the boat but cannot disembark.
Pileh Lagoon
This tour visits Pilleh Lagoon, when possible. The Lagoon is only accessible when the tide is high enough to enter. During low tides, the entrance is sealed off and boats cannot access it.
