Start your tour in Khao Lak and visit Thailand's hidden gem, the Similan Islands. The name originates from the Malaysian word ‘Sembilan’ , which means nine. There are nine islands inside the Koh Similan National Park, this tour visits four of them, including Similan Island Number 8 where the famous sail rock viewpoint is located. Similan islands 1 to 3 are permanently closed to tourism, as there are protected Turtle species who lay eggs on these islands.
There is a high chance of seeing turtles in the Similan Islands, while snorkelling. However it is not something we can guarantee. Snorkelling is included in this tour.
The tour lasts for an entire day, and the travel to and from the Similan Islands is with Speedboat. Approximately 1.5 Hours each way by boat. A packed lunch is included, along with round trip hotel transfers, and the National Park Fee is included too, this means you save 500 Baht as there is no extra to be paid.
The Similan Islands are a controlled National Marine Park. There is a hard limit to the number of daily visitors allowed and we must register your arrival with the National Park Department at least 24 hours prior to your tour. Tours to the Similan Islands cannot be booked last-minute and it is required to submit your passport photograph for registration. On the tour you will need either a photo of your passport, or the physical passport.

For shared tours we will not provide pickup services from any Airbnb and we reserve the right to cancel such reservations. For those who are staying in an Airbnb please consider a private tour instead, as we can only arrange pick-up from your Airbnbs with private tours.
This tour will visit islands and beaches located within Thailands' Mu Koh Similan National Marine Park. The National Park fee is already included in the price and you do not need to pay anything more during the tour. The usual admission rate for Non-Thai citizens is 500.00 Thai Baht per adult and 250.00 Baht per child.
The places we visit are dynamic. All published times, routes, and schedules are approximate and subject to change without prior notice due to seasonal factors, weather conditions, sea conditions, and tides.
Meet your tour guides and boat crews, and a light breakfast will be provided at the pier. Check your registration details. (Please have a photo of your passport on your phone as you may be required to show this to register). * Hotel collection will be before this, about one hour depending on your hotel location.
Travel from Khao Lak to the Similan Islands by Speedboat. The travel time is usually 1 hour and 20 minutes.
The popular Similan Island has the Sail Rock viewpoint. Spend about 1 hour here to swim, relax on the beach, or climb to the top of Sail Rock.
Snorkeling at island no.7 is included, lasting about 40 minutes. You might see turtles, manta rays, clown fish, and dolphins, but there's no guarantee of seeing any wildlife.

Visit Similan Island no.4, where a packed lunch is provided for you to eat. After lunch, you have free time to relax on the beach, sightsee, swim, or snorkel.
Leaving Similan Islands around 3:00 pm. It takes 90 minutes to get back to Khao Lak Pier.
Return to the harbor in Khao Lak where tea, coffee, and light snacks will be provided before transferring back to your hotel.
All tours include drinking water and life jackets are provided on all boat tours.
You can cancel shared tours for free up to 24 hours before midnight of the tour date, and private tours for free up to 48 hours before. Cancellations are accepted for any reason. Outside of this time frame, full payment is required, and no refunds will be given, even for sickness or missed connections. It's recommended to have travel insurance for these situations.

The provided insurance meets all legal requirements, although coverage is limited to catastrophic events. It does not protect against personal injuries, damage to personal belongings, or cancellations due to illness.
