A half-day afternoon speedboat tour from Phuket to the Khai Islands with Sawanu Travel: snorkelling and white sand beaches at Khai Nai, Khai Nui and Khai Nok, back at the pier by early evening.
All times are approximate and change with the day and season. Pick-up can be earlier than the departure time, and you may be back later than the return time. Please don't book a tour on the same day as your arrival or departure flight.

Spend a relaxed afternoon in the Khai Islands on this half-day speedboat tour from Phuket with Sawanu Travel. Just a short ride from Royal Phuket Marina, the three small Khai islands have white sand beaches and clear, shallow water, ideal for snorkelling, swimming and time on the beach without a full day at sea.
After hotel pick-up in Phuket and check-in at Sawanu's lounge at Royal Phuket Marina, you board the speedboat for the Khai Islands. You'll visit Khai Nai, Khai Nui and Khai Nok, with snorkelling over coral and schools of tropical fish close to the shore, and plenty of time to swim and relax on the soft white sand.
The afternoon trip suits families, first-time snorkellers and anyone who wants an easy island escape, and you're back in time for the evening. It includes hotel transfers, a certified English-speaking guide, snorkelling equipment with a new mouthpiece, drinks and snacks on board, life jackets and travel insurance.
Please note: the order of the stops, and sometimes the stops themselves, can change on the day with the weather and sea conditions. Your guide always chooses the safest and best route for the day.
This is a shared tour aboard a modern speedboat. The boat is chosen each day to suit the number of guests, so there is always comfortable seating.
This tour includes a certified English-speaking tour guide who accompanies guests throughout the trip.
Snorkelling equipment with a new mouthpiece is provided for snorkelling at the Khai Islands.
Drinking water, drinks and snacks are served on board. Lunch is not included on the afternoon trip.

Khai Nai is one of the three small Khai Islands off the east coast of Phuket, with a white sand beach and clear, shallow water that is good for swimming and snorkelling.
Khai Nui is the smallest of the Khai Islands, a rocky islet ringed by coral and clear water, visited for snorkelling among schools of tropical fish.
Khai Nok has a long, bright white sand beach and turquoise water, a popular place near Phuket to relax, swim and enjoy the sun.

All reservations are non-refundable if canceled by the customer, unless the cancellation is requested with at least 2 days notice (50% refund, or a full refund with 30 or more days notice). We strongly advise that the customer has their own travel insurance policy in case the customer needs to cancel the tour at the last-minute due to medical reasons. Customer complaints will be taken seriously but shall not be cause to receive a refund. If the tour is cancelled by the operator due to safety concerns the guest will receive a full refund - tours are not cancelled due to rain. Tours will be cancelled only if sea conditions, wave heights, or sea swell are deemed as unsafe by the National Parks Departments. If the tour is operating as normal but you choose to cancel outside of the agreeable period then no refunds will be issued.
Read the Full Weather PolicyThe minimum age to partake in any of our tours is three (3) years old. Our tours are not suitable for infants. The maximum age is seventy years old. Those aged between sixty and seventy must have their own travel insurance. All travellers must be in good physical health. Pregnant individuals, those with heart or back problems, are not permitted to book any tours - no exceptions. Travellers with disabilities needing assistance should contact us before booking to ensure suitability.
All tours sold by Phi Phi Island Tours Company include standard accident insurance as required by Thai Law. The provided insurance meets all legal requirements, although coverage is limited to catastrophic events. It does not protect against personal injuries, damage to personal belongings, or cancellations due to illness. We strongly recommend that travellers obtain their own travel insurance for additional coverage. Safety Wing Thailand is our recommended provider, allowing coverage to be purchased even during a trip.

We cannot control the weather, if you're travelling in the rainy season; rain is expected. We cannot control the animals, there is no guarantee you will see Reef Sharks, Turtles, Monkeys, Glowing Plankton or any other creature. We cannot control other people; our tours visit popular destinations and crowds are expected, especially during the peak season months. We cannot control the tides or the ocean, and on occasion some locations will be inaccessible.
Please take a moment to ensure the start location of a tour that matches the location you'll be staying. For tours which start on Koh Phi Phi, you must arrange your own transport and accommodation to the island. Phi Phi and Phuket are not the same place. If you stay in Phuket please do not book tours which start on Phi Phi. Refunds are not provided for reservations booked with an incorrect start location.
Longtail Boat Captains cannot speak English. Guided tours offer the best experience with a knowledgeable, licensed English-speaking guide who can provide detailed information about the sights. Unguided tours are more budget-friendly but are operated by local boat captains who can only speak very basic English, and will not be able to provide information about the places you visit.
We strive to visit all the locations mentioned; however, it is not always possible, and we cannot guarantee that we will visit every location each day. We cannot control nature or the sea—low tides may prevent access to certain places like Pileh Lagoon, and sea conditions might sometimes require us to skip a spot for safety reasons. Kindly understand that no refunds can be offered if we are unable to visit a specific location.
