Experience one of Thailand’s most stunning natural wonders with a day tour to the Similan Islands, a group of nine islands renowned for world-class snorkeling, powdery white sands, and crystal-clear waters. This full-day speedboat excursion offers the perfect opportunity to explore the Andaman Sea's marine underwater world and breathtaking landscapes, including visits to the pristine shores of Island No. 4 (Koh Miang) and the iconic Donald Duck Bay on Island No. 8 (Koh Similan), where you can climb to the famous Sail Rock Viewpoint for a panoramic view of the turquoise sea.
To help protect this fragile ecosystem, the Similan Islands are subject to strict National Park conservation measures, including a daily limit on the number of visitors. You must book your reservation at least 24 hours in advance to ensure your registration is processed before the quota is filled; walk-in bookings are not possible. Please also be aware that to reach the pier in Khao Lak (Phang Nga province) in time for departure, the complimentary hotel transfer from Krabi or Ao Nang takes approximately 90 minutes. This requires an early morning pick-up between 4:00 AM and 5:30 AM, with the exact time confirmed by our team prior to your tour date.
Your experience is fully all-inclusive to ensure a hassle-free adventure. The price covers your National Park Fees, round-trip transfers from your hotel, and a professional English-speaking guide to lead the way. You will be well-fed throughout the journey, with a light breakfast provided at the pier before departure and a delicious buffet lunch served on the islands to refuel you after your snorkeling sessions. Whether you are swimming among vibrant coral reefs or relaxing on the picture-perfect beaches, this tour delivers an unforgettable escape into paradise.

All reservations are non-refundable if canceled by the customer, unless the cancellation is requested with at least 2 days notice (50% refund, or a full refund with 30 or more days notice). We strongly advise that the customer has their own travel insurance policy in case the customer needs to cancel the tour at the last-minute due to medical reasons. Customer complaints will be taken seriously but shall not be cause to receive a refund. If the tour is cancelled by the operator due to safety concerns the guest will receive a full refund - tours are not cancelled due to rain. Please ensure that you read and understand the cancellation policy before making a reservation.
Read the Full Cancelation PolicyWe're a local tour company based on the Phi Phi Islands. This allows us to sell our tours at market rates! So rest assured that when you book with us, you're guaranteed the lowest possible price. If you think we've made a mistake, and you've found the same tour being sold online for a lower price, let us know. We're so confident in our value that if you find the same tour sold online for less, we won't just match it; we'll refund DOUBLE (x2) the price difference!
Read the Full Terms and ConditionsAll our tours are considered outdoor activities and do not get cancelled due to rain. Tours will be cancelled only if sea conditions, wave heights, or sea swell are deemed as unsafe by the National Parks Departments. If the tour is operating as normal but you choose to cancel outside of the agreeable period then no refunds will be issued.
Read the Full Weather PolicyThe minimum age to partake in any of our tours is three (3) years old. Our tours are not suitable for infants. The maximum age is seventy years old. Those aged between sixty and seventy must have their own travel insurance. All travellers must be in good physical health. Pregnant individuals, those with heart or back problems, are not permitted to book any tours - no exceptions. Travellers with disabilities needing assistance should contact us before booking to ensure suitability.
All tours sold by Phi Phi Island Tours Company include standard accident insurance as required by Thai Law. The provided insurance meets all legal requirements, although coverage is limited to catastrophic events. It does not protect against personal injuries, damage to personal belongings, or cancellations due to illness. We strongly recommend that travellers obtain their own travel insurance for additional coverage. Safety Wing Thailand is our recommended provider, allowing coverage to be purchased even during a trip.
Buy Travel Insurance for ThailandWe ask that travellers keep an open mind when booking tours in this region, it's important to understand that some things are out of our control. We cannot control the weather, if you're travelling in the rainy season; rain is expected. We cannot control the animals, there is no guarantee you will see Reef Sharks, Turtles, Monkeys, Glowing Plankton or any other creature. We cannot control other people; our tours visit popular destinations and crowds are expected, especially during the peak season months. We cannot control the tides or the ocean, and on occasion some locations will be inaccessible.
Please take a moment to ensure the start location of a tour that matches the location you'll be staying. For tours which start on Koh Phi Phi, you must arrange your own transport and accommodation to the island. Phi Phi and Phuket are not the same place. If you stay in Phuket please do not book tours which start on Phi Phi. Refunds are not provided for reservations booked with an incorrect start location.
Longtail Boat Captains cannot speak English. Guided tours offer the best experience with a knowledgeable, licensed English-speaking guide who can provide detailed information about the sights. Unguided tours are more budget-friendly but are operated by local boat captains who can only speak very basic English, and will not be able to provide information about the places you visit.
We strive to visit all the locations mentioned; however, it is not always possible, and we cannot guarantee that we will visit every location each day. We cannot control nature or the sea—low tides may prevent access to certain places like Pileh Lagoon, and sea conditions might sometimes require us to skip a spot for safety reasons. Kindly understand that no refunds can be offered if we are unable to visit a specific location.
