You will see their iconic wooden huts built right on the sand and have the chance to support the community by purchasing beautiful handmade souvenirs. This cultural stop provides incredible photo opportunities before we head back to the water to focus on the islands' main attraction: world-class snorkeling.
This snorkel-focused tour explores multiple vibrant locations, including the famous Ao Sapparot (Pineapple Bay) and the stunning Mae Yai Bay, known for its epic coral reefs and diverse marine life. We also visit Nemo Village, a favorite spot where travelers have a very high chance of spotting clownfish in their natural anemone homes. To ensure your comfort and safety, Sawanu Travel provides a high-quality mask and snorkel set at no extra cost, including a brand-new mouthpiece for every guest. Unlike many other operators, your Surin Islands National Park fees are fully included in the price, so there are no hidden costs on the day.
Lunch is served as a delicious, cooked buffet within the Mu Ko Surin National Park area. After eating, you will have plenty of free time to relax on the powdery white beaches, swim in the turquoise water, or explore the lush tropical surroundings. The combination of local culture, remote beaches, and elite snorkeling makes this the most comprehensive one-day tour from Phuket. After a full day of exploration, we return to the pier around 4:30 PM – 5:00 PM, where your air-conditioned return transfer will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.
This is a shared tour with other guests. We select the best boat for the day based on the number of bookings. The possible boats are either ‘Fernie’ or ‘Kelly’, both are 4 engine power catamaran boats and the most suitable boat is chosen depending on the marine conditions and the number of guests. As a result, the group size may vary each day. Please be assured that we always make sure the number of passengers does not exceed the boat’s licensed capacity, and every guest will have their own space and comfortable seat.
This boat has licensed English Speaking Guide. Please request in advance for Russian or Chinese Speaking Guide.
This tour includes snorkeling at several beautiful spots. A mask and snorkel set is provided for you, and towel rental is also included. Each snorkel comes with a brand new mouthpiece for every guest, ensuring your comfort and hygiene. We usually snorkel at Nemo Village, Pineapple Bay, and Mae Yai Bay, although the exact locations may vary from day to day.
This tour includes two full meals, a light snack, and refreshments throughout the day. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a buffet breakfast at the Sawanu Lounge, followed by a buffet lunch served in the National Park on Surin Islands. All meals are thoughtfully prepared with Thai, international, and vegetarian options available. Additionally, fresh fruits, snacks, and drinks are served on the boat during the tour, and drinking water is provided free of charge throughout your entire experience.
Ao Mae Yai is a wide bay on Koh Surin Nuea with shallow coral reefs, one of the best snorkelling spots in the Surin Islands.

All reservations are non-refundable if canceled by the customer, unless the cancellation is requested with at least 2 days notice (50% refund, or a full refund with 30 or more days notice). We strongly advise that the customer has their own travel insurance policy in case the customer needs to cancel the tour at the last-minute due to medical reasons. Customer complaints will be taken seriously but shall not be cause to receive a refund. If the tour is cancelled by the operator due to safety concerns the guest will receive a full refund - tours are not cancelled due to rain. Please ensure that you read and understand the cancellation policy before making a reservation.

Tours will be cancelled only if sea conditions, wave heights, or sea swell are deemed as unsafe by the National Parks Departments. If the tour is operating as normal but you choose to cancel outside of the agreeable period then no refunds will be issued.
Read the Full Weather PolicyThe minimum age to partake in any of our tours is three (3) years old. Our tours are not suitable for infants. The maximum age is seventy years old. Those aged between sixty and seventy must have their own travel insurance. All travellers must be in good physical health. Pregnant individuals, those with heart or back problems, are not permitted to book any tours - no exceptions. Travellers with disabilities needing assistance should contact us before booking to ensure suitability.
All tours sold by Phi Phi Island Tours Company include standard accident insurance as required by Thai Law. The provided insurance meets all legal requirements, although coverage is limited to catastrophic events. It does not protect against personal injuries, damage to personal belongings, or cancellations due to illness. We strongly recommend that travellers obtain their own travel insurance for additional coverage. Safety Wing Thailand is our recommended provider, allowing coverage to be purchased even during a trip.
Buy Travel Insurance for ThailandWe ask that travellers keep an open mind when booking tours in this region, it's important to understand that some things are out of our control. We cannot control the weather, if you're travelling in the rainy season; rain is expected. We cannot control the animals, there is no guarantee you will see Reef Sharks, Turtles, Monkeys, Glowing Plankton or any other creature. We cannot control other people; our tours visit popular destinations and crowds are expected, especially during the peak season months. We cannot control the tides or the ocean, and on occasion some locations will be inaccessible.
Please take a moment to ensure the start location of a tour that matches the location you'll be staying. For tours which start on Koh Phi Phi, you must arrange your own transport and accommodation to the island. Phi Phi and Phuket are not the same place. If you stay in Phuket please do not book tours which start on Phi Phi. Refunds are not provided for reservations booked with an incorrect start location.
Longtail Boat Captains cannot speak English. Guided tours offer the best experience with a knowledgeable, licensed English-speaking guide who can provide detailed information about the sights. Unguided tours are more budget-friendly but are operated by local boat captains who can only speak very basic English, and will not be able to provide information about the places you visit.
We strive to visit all the locations mentioned; however, it is not always possible, and we cannot guarantee that we will visit every location each day. We cannot control nature or the sea—low tides may prevent access to certain places like Pileh Lagoon, and sea conditions might sometimes require us to skip a spot for safety reasons. Kindly understand that no refunds can be offered if we are unable to visit a specific location.
